Project Scope:
Synergy Electric is the prime contactor for this project and self performing 88% of the work.

Install New Communication Lines to Buffalo Bump     6/30/2009

Project Description :
This project will provide design and construction of a new communications system consisting of fiber optic and telephone cables from Basilone Rd. to Buffalo Bump Compound. Project Value $4.6 million.


Project Scope:
The project scope includes excavation, trenching, concrete encasement of PVC ducts, handholes, conduits, setting poles, installing overhead and anchor cables, guy anchors, cable terminations, cable splices, and cables.

Install Solar Lights MCAS Miramar     8/21/2009

Project Description :
In an effort to reduce electrical energy consumption at MCAS Miramar the existing parking lot lights adjacent to the air field hangar buildings are to be replaced with solar powered lights. Project value $1.4 million.

Existing parking lot lights are to be replaced with solar powered lights.

Upgrade Magnetic Silencing Facility     12/03/2010

Project Description :
Upgrade the existing Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) to support ships with advanced degaussing systems (ADS), including the LPD 17 class amphibious transport dock ship and other large Pacific Fleet ships with the exception of CVN. Project value $1.4 million.


Project Scope:
Project scope includes underground conduit, manholes, wiring, high and low voltage circuit breakers,and metering equipment, telecommunications and fiber optic, trench, concrete encasement, sand slurry backfill, patching, traffic control, etc.

Range Improvements at Range B-20     9/12/2008

Project Description :
The work includes required design and construction efforts consisting of construction of two-40 foot scoring towers with space for mounting scoring cameras, four-40 foot monopoles with space for mounting cameras, electrical power and fiber optic communication lines to the two-40 foot scoring towers, raised gravel pads for a roadway and helicopter landing pad, and any miscellaneous related work.Project value of $9.5 million.

Our project scope consisted of constructing two-40 foot scoring towers, four-40 foot monopoles, electrical power and fiber optic communication lines, raised gravel pads and other miscellaneous related work.

Point Loma Install Photovoltaic Systems     6/29/2009

Project Description :
In an effort to reduce carbon emissions, NAVFAC Southwest will be adding Solar Photovoltaic Power Systems (SPVPS) to roofs on several bases in the region. The SPVPS should supply power to the building and feed energy back into the power grid if/when there is an excess of electricity produced. Project value $4.2 million.


Project Scope:
The following scope of work is to install SPVPS on 7 buildings. Included in the project is the demolition and replacement of the roofs on the 7 buildings to insure their integrity, longevity, and suitability to have the SPVPS installed.
